Still a lot of contacts that left a long time ago. I even had someone die 2 years ago!
This is sometimes because the Linkedin profile is not up to date, but not only that. 
If it were possible to detect last profile activity...

We significantly improved the freshness of the profiles at the beginning of the year. Moreover, there has been a drastic decrease in requests on the subject. In addition, a filter is now available (magic prospect filter) to filter on when the data was updated.

Thanks for your feedback.
I think it's a great idea to show the update date.
We are going to integrate it into our roadmap.
Could you please give us some examples of profiles (not up to date) who have left their companies? This will allow us to correct that.
